Candlelight Music Showcase
The Candlelight Music Showcase

The Candlelight Music Showcase is a non-competitive event that is designed to inspire young musicians and give them an opportunity to perform in a concert with a performing artist.

The Cecilian Music Club is pleased to announce the eighth edition of the Candlelight Music Showcase Recital. The event is dedicated to the 150th Anniversary of Rachmaninoff’s birth (born on April 2, 1873). Russian- American composer, one of the most widely performed composers of the 20th century Sergey Rachmaninoff is well known for his lyrical melodies and late Romantic style. A leading piano virtuoso of his time, he is especially known for his piano concerti and Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. We are very excited to announce that the recital will include a presentation by brilliant pianist, composer and transcriber Vyacheslav Gryaznov, who will be performing pieces by Sergey Rachmaninoff.

The Candlelight Music Showcase will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County in Lincroft, NJ, on Saturday, April 1, at 2:00 PM.
